Service Description:

This collection of layers pertains to revenue and business licensing within the City of New Orleans and Orleans Parish. Many of the datasets are sourced directly from the Revenue Department’s database and are updated on a weekly basis. These include:

• Active Occupational Licenses

• Hotels, Motels, and Bed & Breakfasts

• Live Entertainment Permits

• Building permits

• Revenue Zones

Additional layers—such as Food Truck Zones, and Tax Increment Financing Districts—are polygon-based and help guide departmental operations. Data for Building Permits and Alcoholic Beverage Outlets is pulled weekly from the Safety and Permits database.

Please note: While this dataset is actively maintained, it is not updated in real time. For questions about business licenses, please contact the Department of Revenue.
