The latest revision of these features was 10/06/2011.This file geodatabase feature class represents the roadway centerline segments of the state. It contains any names and addressing information that was in the source data. NONE OF THIS ATTRIBUTE DATA HAS BEEN UPDATED OR VERIFIED. This feature was created using various. The source for the non-state maintained roads were local datasets provided by individual parishes. Where local datasets were not available, TIGER/Line Shapefile products from the U.S. Census Bureau were used. All data delivered with these data sources were retained in the final product. The source for the state maintained roads was data created from collected GPS points from the LA DOTD Pavement Management Systems Section. The address information for the state maintained roads was incorporated from the TIGER/Line data. The TIGER/Line Shapefiles are an extract of selected geographic and cartographic information from the Census MAF/TIGER database released in 2008. The Census MAF/TIGER database represents a seamless national file with no overlaps or gaps between parts. However, each TIGER/Line Shapefile is designed to stand alone as an independent data set or the shapefiles can be combined to cover the whole nation. NOTE: A field named Ownership identifies the agency which maintains the roadway. IF \"UNKNOWN\" is located in this field, it has NOT been determined if it is a roadway feasible for passage of a four wheel passenger vehicle and/or the agency that maintains the roadway has not been
